Extreme SEO #5

I added the Comment Luv plugin: Comment Luv plugin to this blog, so now you can comment using your name (rather than a silly keyword), and get a title-text anchored link back to your last blog post which should be great for your SEO.

Q. Is it a no-follow link? I don’t know, you had better test it out by posting a relevant comment.

I think it is worth you commenting here if your blog/site is on a related topic since I already achieved #1 ranking on GOOGLE(tm) for my keyword of Internet marketing coding and the web traffic is quite good considering I only started this site about 5 weeks ago.

When placing a comment, use your name or pen-name in the name field, and check the comment luv check box to include a keyword-anchored link back to your latest blog post (as long as you are sharing the post via RSS).

So let’s work together and interlink our sites so that our visitors can find our related content more easily.

Let me know your thoughts on these ideas in the comments (responses) …

And get your link in there! :-)

I have used comment luv in the past and found it somewhat buggy. It didn’t always work for my readers. It looks like they’ve improved a lot and maybe I will try it out.

I am seeing this heart symbol all over the place right now. Hence my interest in it. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog :)

    Hello again Andy:

I’ve tried to implement the comment luv feature but it doesn’t seem to want to work :-(
As far as to whether the link is follow or no follow:
The name field is “no follow”, while the lower-box displaying the title link to the latest post from the url is indeed “follow”.
Using Firefox I simply utilize the Quirk Search Status plugin to analyze site for the no follow attribute.

Hi, I use Quirk Search Status too, I forgot it had this feature.

Too bad the Comment Luv plugin doesn’t work for you. If you open Tools -> Error Console in FireFox and refresh your page it may reveal the cause of the problem if it’s Javascript related.

It’s great to see more people getting onto CommentLuv. It’s such a great way to optimize your comments and pass on a bit of useful authority at the same time.
