Financial Data Scraping
Not exactly related to Internet Marketing Coding but it could be sold as a product that offers a service later.
In this project, I am interested in Financial Data Scraping in real time based on dynamic data feeds such as displayed in a Java Applet.
So the plan is to convert dynamically updating visual financial data into numbers and strings that can be processed in software.
Focussing on the numbers, we can input these as data to a decision-making algorithm that produces buy/sell alerts for us to act on for stock trading.
With +/- 4% swings in stock prices on a daily basis, there is a lot of money to be made, but at the same time there is a lot of emotional stress involved. So we need to remove the emotion from trading and implement machines that act without any emotion and purely react to the current data flow.
Already there are quantitative trading algorithms in place that are used by financial institutions, but the details of these are closely-guarded secrets. These are coupled in with High-Frequency Trading Systems that fulfill the trades in fractions of a second. Sometimes, these produce abnormal market swings that have to be swiftly corrected to restore normality to the markets.
So my idea is to create an algorithmic trading engine that produces buy/sell recommendations based on various live inputs of data from the financial markets. The first step is to scrape the data, as the inputs to the algorithm processor.
Comment if you are interested in Financial Data Scraping and algorithmic trading.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation however I to find this matter to be actually one thing that I believe I would never understand. It seems too complex and very large for me. I am taking a look forward in your next publish, I will attempt to get the dangle of it!
