Money Making Template

March 22nd, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

I want to provide you and all readers of my blog a perfect template for making money online.

The simplest solutions are often the best and it is crazy to use 5 megs of code to do what a simple web template can do instead.

For set and forget sites, there is no need to use WordPress and umpteen plugins to leverage the beast into an SEO compliant sales machine.

All you need is an SEO optimized website framework where you cut and paste articles to and edit the title etc.

Then insert some PHP to serve up eBay listings or Adsense, and so have your set and forget micro-niche site to leave alone for a few years to generate daily income on autopilot.

To get your grubby paws on this early, subscribe to my list to get it for free, or risk maxing out your already stressed-out credit card.

Thinking about this some more, I personally prefer to build sites that are themed around a topic and not micro-niche. The reason is that they are likely to stand the test of time better and overall should be less work.

For example, a site about lawn mowers can cover a range of appliances such as ride-on mowers and even strimmers. Then, you can add articles on lawn care etc. So you end up with a more valuable website that you are not ashamed to show to your non-IM friends.

The micro-niche approach would be to build tiny sites covering the various types of lawn mowers and building links to each of these sites. And get a high click-through rate to Adsense.

I think that the link-building process is the hardest and least enjoyable aspect of marketing. So that is another reason why I think the mini-site approach is better than the micro-niche.

If you are going to automate everything, then you may not be bothered, but I think this is a short-sighted attitude to take.
